Jeremiah , a baritone, has a Master’s degree in vocal performance from Texas State University. 

His operatic roles include Guglielmo in Cosí fan tutte, Pish Tush in Mikado, Frank Maurrant in Street Scene, and Papageno in Die Zauberflöte at his undergraduate alma mater, UTSA. 

At Texas State, Drake played the title role in Gianni Schicchi, Bob in The Old Maid and the Thief, the Speaker in Die Zauberflöte, and Dr. Engel in The Student Prince. 

Professional engagements with the Lyric Opera of San Antonio include Pish Tush in Mikado (2001), Fiorello in Il Barbiere di Siviglia (2005), Cascada in The Merry Widow (2006), and the Marquis in La Traviata (2006, San Antonio Opera).  Other professional roles include Balthazar and Melchior in Amahl and the Night Visitors (2006 & 2008), with Opera Texas and Lyric Opera of McAllen respectively, and the Millworker in Austin Lyric Opera’s Lady McBeth of Mtsensk by Shostakovich.

He has performed the bass solos for Handel’s Messiah for YOSA, Mid-Texas Symphony, and Uvalde Choral Guild, and the San Antonio Choral Society. 

Jeremiah has sung  the role of Herr Schlendrian in Bach’s Coffee Cantata at the Victoria Bach Festival.  He performed in a concert, including bass solos from Elijah and The Creation with Kingwood College.
